The 2023 edition of Hackerhotel is over! From February 10 to February 12, the Garderen-based Westcord Hotel was visited by hundreds of hackers, tech enthusiasts and creators from home and abroad. As a Platinum Plus sponsor, NFIR was<\/a> of course present and we actively contributed to the program. This year we had the great honor of hosting Capture The Flag. This game consisted of both offensive and forensic challenges and was played by more than 100 visitors. We are very pleased that the CTF received high praise and offered sufficient challenge and variety. Of all the participating teams, three managed to secure a nice podium finish. On the Sunday evening, beautiful prizes were presented to them to loud applause. Loud applause also followed the talk given by one of our colleagues Mischa van Geelen about one of our most high-profile incidents.  The talk drew packed audiences and, due to its success, was given again at a later date. In addition to our CTF and talks, the program filled up with lectures by fellow cyber experts, workshops you could actively participate in, and other hacking and security-related activities. We look back on a very successful Hackerhotel edition and we look forward to attending again in 2024 and contributing to the program once again. Thanks to Dimitri Modderman and his team for organizing and fine cooperation and finally thanks to our colleagues who contributed to our part at Hackerhotel 2023.<\/p>\n
