You will work in a multidisciplinary team of service managers, business consultants and security engineers\/analysts. As a Security Engineer within the MDR department, you will be responsible for managing, monitoring and responding to security incidents to protect our customers&#8217; digital environment. You will play a critical role in detecting threats, investigating incidents and implementing security measures to neutralize potential threats.   <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ec2bdc7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"ec2bdc7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">What will you do?<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a2423de elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a2423de\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The duties as a Security Engineer within MDR are diverse below is a summary:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Proactive Monitoring:<\/strong> continuously monitor security events and client logs to identify suspicious activity. collaborate in following up on notifications to support SOC analysts. <\/li><li><strong>Incident detection:<\/strong> leverage threat intelligence, security analytics and advanced detection tools to identify and classify security incidents.<\/li><li><strong>Incident Response:<\/strong> Respond quickly to security incidents by taking appropriate action to minimize the impact. Coordinate incident response activities and collaborate with customers to effectively address the incident. <\/li><li><strong>Research and Analysis:<\/strong> Perform in-depth analysis to understand the origin and impact of incidents. Identification of attack methods and techniques used for future prevention. <\/li><li><strong>Vulnerability Assessment<\/strong>: Evaluate systems and networks for vulnerabilities and advise customers on possible improvements.<\/li><li><strong>Security Advice:<\/strong> Providing security advice and recommendations to customers for improving their security measures and practices.<\/li><li><strong>Collaboration and Communication:<\/strong> Effective communication with customers, internal teams and third parties to coordinate incidents and actions.<\/li><li><strong>Reporting:<\/strong> Prepare detailed reports and documentation of incidents, investigations and security measures.<\/li><li><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Research and Development:<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">  Stay abreast of the latest threats, security practices and technologies through ongoing professional development and research. Participate in program code development. build (your) use cases in the Elastic Platform.
