Encouraging cyber awareness<\/a> among employees is very important. Many organizations also find value in organizing something fun for employees’ children every now and then. NFIR has developed the cyber youth event “Cookie of Own Dough” especially for children. An exciting, fun and most importantly educational event for children ages 8-12.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Scavenger hunt for the encrypted recipe <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Cookie of Own Dough is an interactive event for children developed entirely by NFIR. During this 3-hour event, they help hacked baker Bram recover his chocolate chip cookie recipe. The children (maximum 20 per session), together with a parent or guardian, are taken into the scenario of the hack and help through assignments and puzzles to get the recipe back. The event can be played both online and on location. It consists of the following topics, among others: How do I recognize a phishing email? Guessing passwords, Mega hack skills and Cracking puzzles. NFIR will provide the invitations, the presentation of the event and of course the children will receive a participation certificate.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The offline and online worlds are connected like never before. The rise of the Internet has brought about much innovation and has made life easier in a variety of ways. However, there is also a downside to this coin. For example, cybersecurity incidents are increasing exponentially and cyberattacks are becoming more sophisticated. This increase is also reflected in the number of perpetrators and victims of cybercrime among children and young adults. In addition, the victims are also getting younger. This highlights the importance of investing in children’s safety awareness from an early age.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

<\/em>In addition to the educational element, we ensure that participants are immersed in the exciting story of baker Bram and his encrypted recipe. After all, learning through play allows for better processing of new knowledge. We added an extra dimension to the story by treating the participants to a real recipe. This makes Cookie from Own Dough an experience with a delicious aftertaste:<\/p>\n
